- Psychology Today: Find a therapist or psychologist in your area.
- National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: Call 1-800-273-8255 if you are having thoughts of suicide or self-harm. You are loved and the world needs you!
- The Trevor Project: LGBTQ+ and Youth Suicide and Crisis Hotline. Call 1-866-488-7386.
- RAINN: National Sexual Assault Hotline. Call 1-800-656-HOPE. We believe you and you are not alone.
- National Domestic Violence Hotline: Call 1-800-799-7233. Learn more about what constitutes Domestic Violence here.
- National Organization for Victim Assistance: Help for crime and crisis victims.
- National Child Abuse Hotline: Call 1-800-4-A-CHILD.
- Trans Lifeline: Trans-led trans support improving quality of life and combating suicide. Call 877-565-8860. Also offers microgrants and support for name changes and updated IDs.
- Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): Call 1-800-662-4357. Provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and organizations.
- Alcoholics Anonymous: Find a meeting and support in your area.
- Grief Resource Network: Offers resources for those in crisis due to the loss of a loved one. Also offers additional hotlines and resources for a variety of situations here.
- Additional Resources for Assault and Abuse Survivors and Their Loved Ones: RAINN’s Extensive Resources List. - Breethe: Meditation app with a 3-month daily program that teaches you how to meditate and offer good perspectives. Meditation is not about clearing your mind – it is about cultivating awareness and bringing yourself back to the present moment each time your mind wanders off, no matter how often. This app also offers a wide variety of situational meditations, sleep support, hypnotherapy, and interesting talks. The “Headaches” meditation is a life-saver for migraines!
- Healthy Minds: Free meditation app with short podcast-style teachings on mindfulness and daily guided mindfulness practices for both seated meditations and active meditations.
- Calm Harm: This app helps you in moments of self-harm.
- Clear Fear: This app helps you in moments of anxiety, fear, and panic.
